if my life were a book and each year was a chapter in itself, i would title year 2008 as "the humbling experience" or "His Way is Perfect". i prefer the latter though. well, cheesy as these titles may sound, i think they would be the only way to sum up the main events of the year. many have heard my story and i shall not elaborate much here but all in all, i truly saw the workings of God and i have learnt much about letting God's will be done in my life.
things i want to remember (and am thankful for) about yr 2008:
1. tpjc/08A02
though i dreaded this going into this jc much, but thank Him for sustaining me through and helping me make new and wonderful friends.
also for the class that i am beginning to appreciate.

2. family
seeing us through the year, for good health and getting used to our move over to the East.

3. Japan School trip
can't believe i was actually so reluctant to go at first. now, i'm even missing the trip and all the people. what were you thinking cheryl?!

4. everything.
realise there are sooooo many things that i want to pen down but time does not permit.

there's one more week to the start of school and i have to use this week to do my revision for the topical tests that will take place when school starts. i have so much to revise and there are alot of things that i still do not understand. starting school would be pressing the start button for all the homework, tests, stress and the much dreaded a levels. i don't want year 2009 to just be another academic year. i want it to also be one that is fully entrusted into His hands. well, i'll be studying hard for His glory, i can do it (with His help of course). And this year i'll be turning 18! hopefully i'll be able to drive soon :) :) :) the thought of it just makes me so excited. maybe year 2009 won't be that bleak a year after all... right?
