Lord, make my words more like the words you would say. Sometimes, many times, I wish I could take back the harmful words I have said. When I hear myself bruising others with my thoughtless phrases, let your Holy Spirit gently remind me of my wrong ways. Reconstruct my thoughts, Lord. Fill all the words I speak with grace, so that I edify the people in my life.
