for love and friends

approx. 20 KM.

that's the distance we cycled for youth meeting today. from changi beach park to ECP macs. now my body is aching all over. hmm. really proud of myself for being able to cycle on a single bike for the whole journey. making it to the destination point in one piece. i started out real wobbly, but it got better as i got used to the bike. everyone was like so afraid to cycle near me. that's cause my bike doesn't go straight. it goes left right left right left. had facial cramps from being too tense. kept screaming too. especially when people got too near me while cycling. there were times when i went off the cycling track to the grass patch... almost knocked down a jogger (who swore at me)... but overall, i give myself a 8.5/10 for my cycling today!! thank God holding back the rain and for safety!

ok, now for long overdue pics from national day celebrations in school.

my class. taken by the un-pro mr ng who covered the lens with his finger. ):

we had this bazaar thing too. so our class sold some snacks.

our stall at canteen extension

hilarious "dead slow" shot

me and joanne

we managed to sell all the snacks in less than an hour. so we had time to go to the library to stay away from the hot hot weather outside.

okay everyone, get ready for the this one...

my eyes are HUGE.
we proceeded to the hall for the 2nd part of celebrations

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE!

then some of us went for lunch.

anyway, i was looking through the photos and it dawned upon me that i have such wonderful friends. how could i ever have loathed coming into this college. mymy, i really have begun to love school more and more and moreso, the people that i hang around with. truly the Lord has been good to me. (: i guess my negative attitude towards the school stemmed from the disappointment of not doing well for o's and from the embarrassment of coming to this jc when all my sec sch friends were posted to better schools. but i guess all things work together for good. i feel truly blessed by Him. :)

i thank you God for all of life.
