the REAL meaning

HOLIDAY

1. any day of exemption from work
2. a time or period of exemption from any requirement, duty, assessment, etc.

i honestly think that we have used the word "holiday" too loosely, without considering the real meaning of the word. anw, in jc, holidays are not holidays anymore. oh btw, what holiday? i've been busy busy busy for the past few weeks and days. that explains my absence from blogger.com. on the last day of school, i had midyears for GP and ECONS. not too good i guess. ):

and this week, i had to go back to school every single day of the week for lessons. sad, i know. but oh well, that what jc is all about. on wednesday, class ended at 9AM so peijun, huishi, jiamin and i decided to go B&B (Breakfast and Bowling). melvin tagged along for breakfast and left while we were bowling. okay, you readers are so not gonna believe me when i tell you this. I HAD THE HIGHEST SCORES FOR BOTH GAMES. don't believe? evidence below! i think this is the first time i'm so competent in a sport. (:

well, i have contracted the "i want" disease. and it's sad. there are so many things that i want to have and want to do. for the past few days it has been "i wish i could have a .... i want to get that... i need". and it's all about me. i need to learn to be thankful for what i have, because God has truly blessed me with all that i need.

all that i need is my faith in Jesus,

all that i need is my home above.

all that i need is my Father's mercy,

all that i need is my Saviour's love.

can't wait for the next few weeks of break (and studying), cause i will be able to meet up with many many many people i have not met in ages!
